Six With Utah Ties Taken in USFL Supplemental Draft

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.-Thursday evening, six football players with Utah ties were taken in the supplemental draft of the United States Football League.

They include former Utah tight end Hunter Thedford, selected by the Pittsburgh Maulers, former BYU offensive lineman Tejan Koroma, selected by the Michigan Panthers, a pair of former Southern Utah standouts in punter Brock Miller (New Jersey Generals) and offensive lineman Marquez Tucker (Birmingham Stallions) former Weber State defensive end Adam Rodriguez and former Desert Hills High School star, linebacker Gabriel Sewell Jr., each of whom were selected by the Philadelphia Stars.

Sewell matriculated at Nevada and is the brother of Detroit Lions tackle Penei Sewell and former Utah/Nevada linebacker Nephi Sewell.
