5A State Semifinals
SALT LAKE CITY-Jack Wistrcill netted 28 points and 11 rebounds and the No. 1 Olympus Titans routed No. 4 Bonneville 60-43 in the 5A state semifinals Wednesday at the University of Utah. The Titans shot 54 percent from the field in the victory. Olympus next meets No. 7 Woods Cross Saturday at 4:30 pm at the Marriott Center on the campus of Brigham Young University of Provo for the 5A state title. This is the first time since 1987 that the Marriott Center has hosted Utah high school state championship basketball.
SALT LAKE CITY-Mason Bendinger’s 19 points led the way and the No. 7 Woods Cross Wildcats overpowered No. 6 Murray 59-47 at the University of Utah Wednesday in the 5A state semifinals. Jaxson Workman had 30 points in the loss for the Spartans.

SALT LAKE CITY-Jamisyn Heaton’s 14 points and 7 rebounds led No. 1 Lehi to a 49-38 win over No. 4 Highland Wednesday in the 5A state semifinals at the University of Utah. Soesafina Langi had 15 points in defeat for the Rams. Lehi next meets No. 6 Springville Saturday at 11:00 am at Brigham Young University’s Marriott Center for the state championship.
SALT LAKE CITY-Brooke Pennington posted 13 points and the No. 6 Springville Red Devils waxed No. 2 Bountiful 41-21 in the 5A state semifinals at the University of Utah Wednesday. Lizzy McConkie had 9 points in the loss for the Redhawks.
