SALT LAKE CITY-Kevin Doe amassed 28 points and the No. 32 East Leopards drilled No. 33 Provo 74-52 in the 5A boys play-in game Monday at East High School. Lincoln Johnson had 20 points in the loss for the Bulldogs. East next faces No. 1 Olympus Wednesday in the first round of the 5A boys state basketball playoffs at Olympus High School.

SPANISH FORK, Utah-Staci Lomenick posted 25 points and the No. 32 Spanish Fork Dons routed No. 33 Tooele 56-27 Monday in the 5A girls play-in game at La Hacienda.
Rylie Hogan had 11 points in the loss to pace the Buffaloes.
The Dons next face No. 1 Lehi Tuesday at 7:00 pm in the first round of the 5A girls state basketball playoffs.
