SALT LAKE CITY-Thursday, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced that employees of its Church Educational System (CES) institutions will be required to hold and live worthily of a current temple recommend.

Church members already working at CES institutions will be invited to voluntarily live up to this standard.

This is in alignment with the historical temple recommend standard applicable to Church employment.

This adjustment goes into effect immediately and applies to all faculty, staff and administrative employees at each of the CES institutions.
