HYRUM, Utah-Tucker Englebright led the way with 15 points and the Wasatch Wasps bested the Mountain Crest Mustangs 62-49 in non-region boys basketball play Wednesday. Preston Lofthouse had a game-high 31 points, along with 8 rebounds, for the Mustangs in defeat.

Wasatch improves to 5-8 on the season with the victory as Mountain Crest slumps to 1-9.

The Wasps will commence Region 9 play Friday January 14 by hosting the Salem Hills Skyhawks at the Nest.
