WASATCH COUNTY, Utah-Monday evening, the Salt Lake City Bureau of the National Weather Service reported a snow squall warning is in effect through 6:45 pm at the following locations:

A snow squall consists of “a short period of time with intense snowfall that quickly leads to reduced visibility.”
Squalls are often accompanied by heavy winds.
