LEHI, Utah-Malick Diallo’s 27 points led the way as the Juan Diego Soaring Eagle dismantled Wasatch 57-40 Friday at the Skyridge Invitational. Tucker Englebright had 9 points in the loss for the Wasps, who fell to 1-5. Head coach James Ballstaedt’s squad plays for 7th place Saturday at 10:00 am against fellow Region 9 foe Salem Hills.

PARK CITY, Utah-Chiara Serre posted 28 points and the Wasatch Wasps got past Park City 51-45 Friday in non-region girls basketball play. Ava Kimche’s 25 points led the Miners in defeat. The Wasps have now won 30 of their last 31 contests against Park City on the hardwood with Friday’s win.
