PROVO, Utah-Tuesday, Elder Neil L. Andersen of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ Quorum of Twelve Apostles spoke to BYU students at the weekly devotional.
His message included an invitation for his audience to look ahead to the next life.
Elder Andersen used a hypothetical situation during his remarks for the students to imagine a conversation after this life with someone who lived in another century and first heard about the Gospel of Jesus Christ after having departed the temporal world.
Elder Andersen then played a six-minute video featuring Bro. Brad Wilcox of the Young Men General Presidency interviewing students about how they have made time for the Lord.
By sifting through the comments, Elder Andersen said that it is possible to remain constant and vigilant in living the Gospel in a world full of distractions.
In conclusion, Elder Andersen bore his testimony of the Savior, stating that “He showed us how to live.”
