NJCAA Football Semifinals

COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa-Nate Glantz threw for 251 yards, three touchdowns and an interception as No. 1 Iowa Western outlasted No. 4 Snow 30-29 in overtime.

Ryan Flournoy, Roscoe Parrish and Moses Bryant each caught touchdown passes for the Reivers.

Bryant’s scoring reception occurred in overtime giving Iowa Western a 30-23 lead.

Snow responded with an 11-yard touchdown pass from Gabe Sweeten (17-37, 215 yards, 2 TD’s/3 INT’s) to Caden Leggett (4 rec, 75 yard, 2 TD’s) in overtime.

The Badgers went for two and Sweeten was stopped short, ending the game.

Iowa Western next plays for a national title against No. 2 New Mexico Military December 17 at Little Rock, Ark.

Men’s Basketball

Scenic West

TWIN FALLS, Idaho-Taelon Martin led the way with 19 points on 7-11 from the field and the No. 13 Southern Idaho Golden Eagles surged past No. 11 Snow 84-74 Saturday at the CSI Gymnasium in Scenic West play.

Chase Potter had 21 points on 9-18 from the field in the loss for the Badgers.

Snow returns to action Thursday by hosting USU-Eastern Utah.

Women’s Basketball

TWIN FALLS, Idaho-Emilia Nworie and Alyssa Christensen had 12 points apiece and the No. 10 Southern Idaho Golden Eagles surged past Snow 69-56 at the CSI Gymnasium Saturday in Scenic West play.

Tylie Jones had 17 points and 7 rebounds on 6-9 shooting for the Badgers in the loss. Snow returns to action Thursday as the Badgers host USU-Eastern Utah.
