Women’s Volleyball National Championship 7th Place Match

HUTCHINSON, Kan.-Macy Short posted 15.5 points and added a team-best 8 kills along with Bailey Rasmussen and Tricia Tua’one as the Snow Badgers secured 7th place at the national championship volleyball match by prevailing over Blinn (Texas) 3-0 in straight sets. The Badgers prevailed 25-21,25-18, 26-24

Charde Van Zant had a team-best 12 points in defeat for the Buccaneers.

Men’s Basketball

FORT MYERS, Fla.-Chase Potter posted 27 points on 12-20 from the field and the No. 20 Snow Badgers outlasted Eastern Florida State 80-79 in overtime Saturday on the campus of Southwestern Florida State College. The Badgers shot 50 percent from the field in the win to improve to 5-1 on the season.  Snow returns to action Friday and Saturday at the Idaho Central Credit Union Invitational at Twin Falls, Idaho on the campus of the College of Southern Idaho.

The Badgers will face McCook CC (Neb.) Friday and Northeastern JC (Colo.) Saturday.

Pizza Hut Invitational

CASPER, Wyo.-Dani Ross posted 17 points on 7-11 from the field and 3-6 behind the arc as the Snow Badgers pummeled Northeastern JC (Colo.) 97-49 Saturday at the Pizza Hut Invitational at Casper College. The Badgers shot 54 percent from the field in the win. Snow next returns to action Tuesday at Chandler-Gilbert CC (Ariz.). Friday and Saturday, the Badgers will compete at the Arizona Western Thanksgiving Classic at Yuma, Ariz. against Central Arizona and the host Matadors, respectively.
