AUSTIN, Texas-Thursday, University of Utah wide receiver/return specialist Britain Covey was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District football team.

Covey, a junior out of Provo’s Timpview High School, completed his business degree in the summer of 2021 with a 3.86 GPA.

Covey was also named as an academic All-American following the 2020 season.

On the football field, Covey ranks third nationally and first in the Pac-12 in yards per punt return (14.7 yards).

Covey has presently collected 3,539 career all-purpose yards during his time with the Utes.
