The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints To Have Sacrament Meeting Only December 26

SALT LAKE CITY-In a directive issued November 10, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will only conduct Sacrament meetings worldwide on Sunday December 26.

In a letter signed by Church President Russell M. Nelson and his counselors in The First Presidency, President Dallin H. Oaks and President Henry B. Eyring, this move is to allow leaders to spend more time with their families.

This letter was given to Church authorities and officers, Area Seventies, district and mission presidencies, bishoprics and branch presidencies.

The letter confirms administrative and council meetings may be canceled that day.
