NEW HAVEN, Conn.-Thursday, Utah star linebacker Devin Lloyd was named as a semifinalist for the 2021 Walter Camp Player of the Year award per an announcement from the Walter Camp Football Foundation.

This award is annually bestowed upon the collegiate American football player of the year.

The junior out of Chula Vista, Calif. leads the Utes with 80 tackles on the season.

He has three double-digit tackle games on the season and leads the nation with 19 tackles for a loss.

Lloyd ranks 19th nationally with 7 sacks.

Lloyd and his Utes teammates return to action Saturday at Arizona.
