Gov. Ducey Tours Mesa Temple With Elder Rasband

MESA, Ariz.-This past Tuesday, Arizona Republican Gov. Doug Ducey toured the Mesa Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with Elder Ronald A. Rasband of the faith’s Quorum of Twelve Apostles.

The temple will be open to tours for the public as of Saturday October 16.

Others to join Gov. Ducey on the tour with Elder Rasband included Arizona State University associate professor of journalism and mass communication Dr. Fran Matera and the director of special programs for the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, Fred Taylor.

Also in this contingent were 30 people from the Somali American United Council of Arizona.

The open house, with the exclusion of Sundays, runs through Nov. 20, 2021.

President Dallin H. Oaks of the Church’s First Presidency will rededicate the Mesa Temple Sunday December 12.
