Controlled Burning Slated For Heber-Kamas Ranger District Through New Year’s Eve

UINTA-WASATCH-CACHE NATIONAL FOREST, Utah-In news released Monday, firefighting personnel on the Heber-Kamas Ranger District of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest will burn 1,000 slash piles (about 20 acres) to reduce hazardous fuels.

This process will last through December 31 along the Spring Canyon Road near Washington and Trial Lakes.

This is part of the Upper Provo fuel break project.
