SALT LAKE CITY-Thursday, COVID-19 stats were released for the state of Utah.

There are now 10,813 positive cases that have occurred in the Beehive State. This is an increase of 316 in the past 24 hours and a net increase of 21 in the past 24 hours.

There are presently 6,628 who have recovered from COVID-19 in Utah, or 61.29 percent of those who have had the virus.

This is a net increase of 127 in the past 24 hours who have recovered.

Presently, there have been 227,507 total tests for COVID-19 in the Beehive State. This is an increase of 3,526 in the past 24 hours.

This increases the overall positive test percentage for COVID-19 in Utah to 4.75 percent. In the past 24 hours, the positive test percentage slumped to 8.96 percent after reaching 13.47 percent from Tuesday-Wednesday.

There have presently been 850 hospitalizations from COVID-19 in the Beehive State. This is an increase of 21 in the past 24 hours.

However, there are only currently 118 hospitalizations in Utah. This means only 13.88 percent of Utahns who have been hospitalized from COVID-19 are presently hospitalized.

There have been zero deaths from COVID-19 in Utah in the past 24 hours. This means the number of deaths from COVID-19 in Utah remains 117.

In Wasatch County, there have been 313 cases for COVID-19. This is an increase of 8 in the past 24 hours. There remain 14 hospitalizations and 2 deaths from the virus in Wasatch County. The most recent death occurred May 31.
