This blaze is burning near the intersection of S.R. 17 and Interstate 15, near milepost 27 on I-15 in Washington County.
Per Tuesday’s report, it had scorched nearly 350 acres. This came from a news release issued by the Utah Division of Forestry, Fire and State Lands.

By Monday afternoon, roughly 20 homes had been evacuated but by that evening, all residents were able to return to their homes safely.
About 55 firefighters and seven engines from the Hurricane Valley Fire District, the state of Utah, U.S. Forest Service and the Bureau of Land Management were assigned to combat the blaze.
Temperatures will trend cooler Tuesday than Monday, as the high temperature is expected to be only 71 degrees and there is a 20 percent chance of rain as the day progresses.
