SALT LAKE CITY-Monday, one mobile home was destroyed and two others were damaged in a fire in Salt Lake City.

The incident was reported at 5:30 am at 1366 S. Major Street. All three homes were close to each other per a report from the Salt Lake City Police Department.

It was not immediately known how the fire was started or which mobile home was the first to catch fire.

The home in the middle was completely consumed, the fire department confirmed.

One of the three trailers was vacant and the occupants of the other two homes were able to safely escape.
