ERDA, Utah-An Erda man previously convicted of engaging in sexual activity with a minor has been arrested and accused of sending an unsolicited graphic video to a teenager.
21-year-old Blake Julian Gould has been charged in 3rd District Court with pornography distribution and dealing in harmful materials to a minor, third-degree felonies.
Gould is scheduled to make a May 19 appearance in court.
In April, a 17-year-old girl informed authorities Gould “had sent her an invitation to a private story on Snapchat.”
When she joined the story, she viewed a video of Gould having “graphic sexual intercourse with an unidentified female” per charging documents.
Gould sent the 17-year-old a friend request on Snapchat although he did not know her, per a search warrant affidavit.
Over the next few days, Gould reportedly sent the teen messages on Snapchat, saying he wanted a girlfriend.
In November, Gould was convicted of unlawful sexual activity with a minor in another case.
At the time, the victim was 14 and Gould was 19. He was accused of exchanging explicit pictures with the girl and having sex with her, per charging documents.
He was then ordered to serve 30 days in jail and placed on three years of probation.
