PROVO, Utah-A report was released Friday night confirming Utah County Attorney David Leavitt has tested positive for COVID-19.

Leavitt reports that last Thursday (March 26), he came down with fevers, muscle aches, and fatigue that he had never before experienced in his life.

As of Friday afternoon, Utah had 1,246 positive COVID-19 tests. Seven people have died from the illness and over 24,000 Utahns have been tested.
