HEBER CITY, Utah-Tragedy has visited the Wasatch County community early in the new year as 15-year Wasatch County Search & Rescue member Doug Baker has passed away.
Baker died following a snowmobile accident Sunday in Montana. Baker had retired from Wasatch County Search and Rescue several years ago, relocating to Montana.
The decorated Baker has commemorative Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office and Wasatch County Search and Rescue insignia dedicated to his honor in a glass case as the sheriff’s office in Heber City.
On Facebook, Baker’s wife, Jodi Withers, confirmed her heart is broken at the tragic passing of her husband.
