SUMMERLIN, Nev.-Corban Joseph and Eric Campbell each homered twice as the Las Vegas Aviators pounded Salt Lake 11-3 Thursday in Pacific Coast League baseball action at Las Vegas Ballpark. Dustin Fowler and Seth Brown also homered for the Aviators, who improved to 52-39 with the win. Jose Rojas hit his 18th home run of the season and Ty Kelly and Kaleb Cowart each added RBI in defeat for the 39-51 Bees.
Pioneer League
IDAHO FALLS, Idaho-Brandon Lewis homered and doubled as the Ogden Raptors smacked Idaho Falls 13-5 at Melaleuca Field in Pioneer League baseball action Thursday. Andy Pages added his 8th home run of the season and Sauryn Lao stepped up with 2 RBI for the 19-6 Raptors. Isaiah Henry homered and singled in the loss for the 14-9 Chukars.
MISSOULA, Mont.-Francis Martinez and Tristen Carranza each homered as the Missoula Osprey outlasted Orem 4-3 Thursday at Ogren Park Allegiance Field in Pioneer League baseball action.
Dominic Canzone’s 4th Inning groud out RBI gave the Osprey a 4-0 lead, which proved sufficient for the game, as Missoula improved to 14-11.
In defeat, Jose Verrier, Adrian Rondon and Johan Sala all homered for the Owlz, as they fell to 8-17.
