(Alta, UT) — Tropical Storm Rachel is gone but the totals are just now being added up. Some parts of the Wasatch Mountains recorded over seven inches of rain. It was a similar number for the Pine Valley Mountains in southwestern Utah. All of the ski resorts in Big Cottonwood Canyon and Little Cottonwood Canyon got at least a foot of snow.
