SOUTH JORDAN, Utah-Marcos Castañon and Pablo Reyes drove in a run apiece and the El Paso Chihuahuas edged Salt Lake 3-2 Thursday at The Ballpark at America First Square.

Sean Boyle netted two strikeouts in three innings of work to earn the win on the mound for El Paso.

Following Thursday’s results, the Chihuahuas improved to 20-22 on the season while the Bees fell to 18-23.

The squads return to action Friday at 6:35 pm for the fourth game in the series at The Ballpark at America First Square.
