OKLAHOMA CITY-James Tibbs III and Jack Suwinski drove in three runs apiece and the Oklahoma City Comets soared past the Salt Lake Bees 12-5 Wednesday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

Garrett McDaniels netted a strikeout in 1.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Comets.

Niko Kavadas homered in the loss for the Bees.

Following Wednesday’s results, the Comets improved to 18-17 and the Bees slumped to 15-20.

The squads return to action Thursday at 6:35 pm for the third game in the series at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
