(Salt Lake City, UT) — A former Utah Department of Child and Family Services employee has been charged with tampering with a witness and other felonies in connection to the abuse of a 15-month-old boy. The boy’s babysitter, Erika Bos, initially claimed the injuries were caused by allergies. Texts revealed Bos was in communication with DCFS employee Kaitlyn Murphy, who allegedly influenced the investigation. Both Murphy and Bos face charges, including aggravated child abuse.
