Riebe Announced As Democratic Nominee For Second District Seat

(Salt Lake City, UT) — State Senator Kathleen Riebe will be the Democratic nominee for the special election to replace Congressman Chris Stewart. Riebe was the top vote-getter in a ranked-choice election held by Utah Democrats. Riebe currently holds the position of minority whip in the state Senate. Primaries for the upcoming Second District special election will be held on September 5th, with the election scheduled for November 21st.
