Bees Use Late Heroics To Win Fourth Straight

SALT LAKE CITY-Kean Wong scored on an error in the 11th Inning and the Salt Lake Bees won their fourth straight game with a 13-12 victory over the Tacoma Rainiers Saturday at Smith’s Ballpark.

The Bees also received a grand slam from Luis Rengifo and a 10th Inning home run from Brendon Davis to tie things up 12-12 in the 10th Inning.

Salt Lake improved to 16-13 on the season with the victory.

Gerardo Reyes earned the win on the mound for the Bees, as he improved to 2-2.

Zach Green, Kyle Lewis, Donovan Walton and Steven Souza Jr. each homered in defeat for the Rainiers as they fell to 8-21.

The series finale occurs Sunday at Smith’s Ballpark for a 1:05 pm opening pitch.
