Bees Win Third Straight Game Friday

SALT LAKE CITY-David MacKinnon homered twice and added an RBI single while Brendon Davis also went yard as the Salt Lake Bees won their third straight game with a 9-5 win over Tacoma Friday at Smith’s Ballpark in Pacific Coast League play.

Matt Thaiss added a pair of RBI in the win for the Bees, as they improved to 15-13.

Jose Suarez posted the win on the mound for the Bees, improving to 1-0 on the season. Suarez recorded five strikeouts in as many innings for the Bees.

Mason McCoy homered in the loss for the Rainiers, as they fell to 8-20 on the season.

The Bees and Rainiers return to action Saturday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.
