RENO, Nev.-Alek Thomas hit a walk-off grand slam and the Reno Aces stunned the Salt Lake Bees 7-5 Wednesday at Greater Nevada Field.

The Bees led 5-1 headed into the 9th Inning but successive solo home runs from Stone Garrett and Buddy Kennedy complemented Thomas’ game-winner.

Caleb Baragar earned the win on the mound for the Aces, improving to 1-0 on the season.

Dillon Thomas homered and Chad Wallach added an RBI double in defeat for the Bees, who fell to 7-7. Reno improved to 8-6 on the season with the victory.
