HEBER CITY, Utah-Tuesday, the Wasatch boys and girls track and field teams each excelled at the Region 9 Tri-Meet at Wright-Tree Stadium. Participating schools were Wasatch, Maple Mountain and Provo.

The Wasps’ boys posted 189 points. Maple Mountain finished second with 181 points. Provo placed third with 81 points.

The Wasatch girls posted 242 points. Provo finished second with 97 points. Maple Mountain placed third with 47 points.

The Wasps who placed first in their respective events are as follows:
