WASHINGTON-The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has confirmed public tours for its temple at Washington DC commences for invited guests from April 19-27.

The public open house begins April 28 and will extend for several months, with the exception of Sundays.

The youth devotional is slated for August 13 and the dedication for August 14.

The Washington DC Temple was first dedicated November 19-22, 1974 by then-Church President Spencer W. Kimball.
