Region 9

PROVO, Utah-Payton Swapp homered twice, including a 7th Inning grand slam, and the Wasatch Wasps routed Provo 10-0 in Region 9 baseball play Friday. The win improves the Wasps to 8-8 and 5-1 in Region 9 play. The Wasps have won seven of their last eight games after starting the season at 1-7.

Wasatch next returns to action Tuesday by hosting Salem Hills as the Region 9 season ensues for both the Wasps and Skyhawks.

HEBER CITY, The Lone Peak Knights bested Wasatch 11-5 Friday in non-region girls lacrosse play at Wright-Tree Stadium.
