Utah Men’s Basketball Adds Quebecois Guard

SALT LAKE CITY-In news from Wednesday, Utah men’s head basketball coach Craig Smith announced the addition of Will Exacte Jr. to the Utes’ roster for the 2022-23 season.

The 6-6 225-pound guard hails from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and has previously starred at NBA Academy Latin America of San Luis Potosi, Mexico,  where he has excelled against stellar athletes in his peer group.

He also honed his skills with the Montreal-based Sun Youth Hornets basketball program.

Exacte played high school basketball at College-Notre Dame of Montreal.

He has also competed with the Under Armour Canada Elite team on the AAU circuit.

He has become the fourth Montreal native to attend NBA Academy Latin America, joining Marquette/Clemson forward Olivier Maxence-Prosper, Arizona guard/forward Bennedict Mathurin and South Carolina center Tre-Vaughn Minott.
