UINTA-WASATCH-CACHE NATIONAL FOREST, Utah-Friday, fire personnel representing the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest burned 35 slash piles on the Heber-Kamas Ranger District.

Weather conditions could be slightly hazardous for burning Saturday. While the forecast calls for a high of roughly 63 degrees in the region, winds from the south-southeast are expected to shift to the west-southwest. The gusts are anticipated to be 10-15 miles per hour.
