SALT LAKE CITY-Per Monday news, University of Utah men’s basketball senior guard Marco Anthony announced he plans to exercise his additional year of collegiate eligibility and return to the Utes program next season.

Anthony, a native of San Antonio, has played at Virginia, Utah State and Utah during his collegiate career.

The 6’5″ 220-pound guard posted 18 steals last season, ranking him third on the squad.

Anthony averaged 9.1 points and 6.9 rebounds per game for the Utes in 2021-22.
