Kevin Durant had 25 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists for the Warriors in a 115-104 triumph over Utah. John Wall scored 24 points and the Wizards held Isaiah Thomas to just 13 points in a 116-89 pounding of the Celtics.

SAN ANTONIO (AP) — The San Antonio Spurs will spend the rest of the postseason without guard Tony Parker because of a leg injury suffered in last night’s rout of Houston. Parker will need surgery to repair a ruptured quadriceps tendon, leaving San Antonio without its veteran floor leader. Backup Patty Mills could move into a starting role, with rookie Dejounte Murray getting more playing time.

NEW YORK (AP) — The New York Rangers have evened their second-round series with Ottawa by posting their second straight 4-1 win over the Senators. Nick Holden opened the scoring in the first period and Oscar Lindberg added a pair of goals in the second. Henrik Lundqvist stopped 22 shots and blanked the Senators until Kyle Turris (TOOR’-ihs) scored with 6:24 left.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — The Carolina Panthers have signed first-round pick Christian McCaffrey. The versatile 5-foot-10, 202-pound running back also played wide receiver and returned kicks while at Stanford before being taken eighth overall in the NFL draft. McCaffrey broke Barry Sanders’ single-season all-purpose yards record in 2015 by racking up 3,864.

HOUSTON (AP) — Houston Texans inside linebacker Max Bullough has been suspended without pay for the first four games of next season for violating the league’s policy on performance enhancing substances. The 25-year-old had 25 tackles while appearing in every game for the Texans last season, including three starts. Bullough is eligible to return to the active roster Oct. 2, the day after the Texans play Tennessee.
