(Memphis, TN) — Patrick Wisdom’s RBI double in the bottom of the 13th gave the Redbirds a 5-4 win over the Salt Lake Bees in Memphis. Sherman Johnson belted a solo homer for Salt Lake, which dropped to 54-and-50. The third installment of the four-game series is tonight.
Elsewhere in minor league baseball, the Ogden Raptors scored five times in the eighth to rally for an 8-7 win over the Brewers in Helena. Ogden improved to 21-and-15. Play between the Owlz and Billings Mustangs was stopped due to rain in Orem. The game is tied 9-9 in the seventh and will be continued at a later date.
