MT. PLEASANT, Utah (AP)-Hunter Meyer had a pair of goals and the Tooele Buffaloes doubled up North Sanpete, upsetting the Hawks 2-1 Thursday in the first round of the 3-A boys soccer playoffs. The Buffaloes, Region 10’s #3 seed, next travel to St. George to face Region 9 champion Snow Canyon Saturday at 1:00 pm in the 3-A quarterfinals.

NEPHI, Utah (AP)-Taylei Williams earned the win in the circle and the Juab Wasps pounded Canyon View 13-3 Thursday in Region 12 softball action.
KAMAS, Utah (AP)-Elise Bush went yard and the South Summit Wildcats edged Gunnison 4-3 in non-region softball action. The Wildcats improved to 19-3 on the season with the win.
