RICHFIELD, Utah (AP)-Logan Dalton posted 16 points and made 8 of his 11 shots as the Piute Thunderbirds bested Manila 55-30 Tuesday at Richfield High School in the 1-A play-in game. Mason Morgan added 15 points on 6-11 from the field for the Thunderbirds. Garrett Potter had 13 points and 6 rebounds in the loss for the Mustangs. Piute will face Region 20 foe Panguitch (the cause of consternation to many in the 1-A community) Wednesday at 11:30 am at the Sevier Valley Center. This game can be heard on KMGR-Classy FM.
RICHFIELD, Utah (AP)-Austyn Brinkerhoff netted 15 points on 6-9 shooting as the Bryce Valley Mustangs downed Mount Vernon 66-37 in the 1-A play-in game at Richfield High School Tuesday. The proficient Mustangs shot 77.3 percent (17-22) in the first half and 26-42 (61.9 percent) for the game in easily routing the Patriots out of Region 18. Somtochukwu Achebo had 14 points on 6-12 in defeat for Mount Vernon. The Mustangs next draw Duchesne Wednesday at 11:30 am in the 1-A first round. This game can be heard on KMGR-Classy FM.
RICHFIELD, Utah (AP)-Davis Harrison’s 23 points on 10-15 led the way for the Diamond Ranch Diamondbacks in a 68-57 win over Pinnacle in the 1-A play-in game Tuesday at Richfield High School. Kaden Daughters had 19 points and 6 rebounds in defeat for the Panthers. Diamond Ranch next draws St. Joseph Wednesday at 2:30 pm in the 1-A state tournament first round at the Sevier Valley Center.
RICHFIELD, Utah (AP)-Jacob Cox netted 18 points and 10 rebounds as the Green River Pirates edged Telos 44-43 in the 1-A play-in game at Richfield High School Tuesday. Trey Vetere had 11 points and 7 boards in the win for the Pirates as well, leading the Pirates to a 5:30 pm Wednesday date against Tintic in the first round of the 1-A state tournament at the Sevier Valley Center. Joe Walker had 9 points and 5 rebounds in the loss for the Titans.
RICHFIELD, Utah (AP)-Zane Taylor posted 18 points and 12 rebounds as the Wayne Badgers outlasted Wendover 62-58 Tuesday in the 1-A boys play-in game at Richfield High School. Gustavo Carrillo had 15 points in defeat for the Wildcats in a gallant effort. Wayne next faces Monticello Wednesday at 7:00 pm in the first round of the 1-A boys state tournament at the Sevier Valley Center. This game can be heard on KMGR Classy-FM.

Camron Lefler amassed 20 points and 11 rebounds and Beau Bateman added 17 more points in the loss for the Tigers. The Lions next face Valley Wednesday at 8:30 pm in the nightcap from the Sevier Valley Center a the 1-A state tournament. This game can be heard on KMGR Classy FM.
