SALINA, Utah (AP)-Matt Nelson came off the bench to post 20 points on 8-11 shooting as the Manti Templars blasted North Sevier 85-59 Wednesday in Region 15 boys basketball action. The Templars torridly shot 55.7 percent from the field to complement their swift play.
Tanner Rasmussen added 16 points on 6-11 shooting for the Templars while Max Asper had 23 points on 8-12 shooting in defeat for the Wolves.
BEAVER, Utah (AP)-Jo B Shurtliff and Kaden Simpkins had 9 points apiece as the Enterprise Wolves edged Beaver 38-35 in Region 13 boys basketball action Wednesday. Davis Helsington had 13 points in the loss for the Beavers.
MONROE, Utah (AP)-Tyson Chisholm netted 20 points and the South Sevier Rams smoked Millard 66-39 Wednesday in Region 13 boys basketball action. Kaleb Rowell had 13 points in the loss for the Eagles.
NEPHI, Utah (AP)-Spencer Steadman posted 19 points and the North Sanpete Hawks outlasted Juab 47-45 in Region 12 boys basketball action Wednesday. Aaron Clark had 16 points in the loss for the Wasps.
DELTA, Utah (AP)-Derek Smith stepped up with 17 points and the Delta Rabbits smacked Kanab 61-46 Wednesday in Region 13 boys basketball action. Parker Collins had 14 points in the loss for the Cowboys.
PRICE, Utah (AP)-Stetson Southwick’s game-high 21 points led Richfield to a narrow 52-51 win over Carbon in Region 12 boys basketball action Wednesday. Kyle Quinton had 12 points in defeat for the Dinos.

BICKNELL, Utah (AP)-Courtney Jackson stepped up with 24 points and the Wayne Badgers stymied Bryce Valley 48-40 in Region 20 girls basketball action Wednesday. Danielle Brinkerhoff’s 11 points led the way in the loss for the Mustangs.
PANGUITCH, Utah (AP)-Brittney Henrie and Jordan Bennett posted 11 points apiece as the Panguitch Bobcats edged Piute 45-43 Wednesday in Region 20 girls basketball action. Mickell Morgan’s 21 points paced the Thunderbirds in the narrow defeat.
