PANGUITCH, Utah (AP)-The Panguitch Bobcats, two-time winners of the Mid-Utah Radio Sports Network school of the year award, have added more prestigious hardware to their collection.
The Bobcats’ girls’ volleyball team is off to a 3-0 start on the season and star OH/RS Taylia Norris is a tremendous impetus behind their early-season success.
For her contributions, Norris, a 6’1″ sophomore, was awarded the MaxPreps’ volleyball player of the week award for the state of Utah for her performance August 14-20.
During this week, Norris amassed 19 kills (3.167 kills per game), one dig, 12 receptions (2 per game), four aces and five blocks.
