(Salt Lake City, UT) — The Salt Lake Bees fell into a 9-1 hole and couldn’t come all the way back in a 9-8 loss to the Albuquerque Isotopes at Smith’s Ballpark. Jefry Marte went 3-for-4 with a homer and four RBI for the Bees, who fell to 54-and-47. The teams wrap up the four-game series tonight.
Elsewhere in minor league baseball, the Owlz outslugged the Great Falls Voyagers, 12-9, in Orem. The Owlz are 24-and-9 on the season. The Ogden Raptors suffered a 4-3 loss to the Osprey in Missoula. Ogden is 18-and-15 on the year.
