Bees End Season With Loss; Owlz and Raptors Lose

(Salt Lake City, UT) — The Salt Lake Bees ended the season with a 9-7 loss to the Fresno Grizzlies at Smith’s Ballpark. At 72-and-70, Salt Lake finished a game behind the El Paso Chihuahuas for first place in the PCL Pacific Southern Division. The Bees squandered a 6-3 lead in the season-ending loss.

Elsewhere in minor league baseball, the Orem Owlz suffered an 8-7 road loss to the Idaho Falls Chukars. Orem dropped to 46-and-24 with the setback. The Ogden Raptors were also beaten on the road, 7-6, by the Grand Junction Rockies. Ogden is 44-and-27.
