(Fresno, CA) — The Salt Lake Bees smacked 20 hits in a 19-7 rout of the Grizzlies in Fresno. Cesar Puello went 5-for-6 with four runs and five RBI. Kaleb Cowart added a homer and four RBI for the Bees, who improved to 48-and-38. The teams meet in the rubber match of the three-game set tonight.
Elsewhere in minor league baseball, the Orem Owlz went on the road and jolted Grand Junction, 12-4. Orem is 12-and-5 on the season. The Ogden Raptors also clobbered the Idaho Falls Chukars, 17-3. Ogden is 9-and-8 on the year.
