INDIANAPOLIS-Thursday, Weber State offensive lineman Iosua Opeta was invited to the NFL Draft Combine February 26-March 5 at Indianapolis.
Opeta, a two-time FCS All-American, is the 14th Wildcat in program history to participate at the NFL Combine and the fourth from the Big Sky Conference this season.
Opeta’s workout before scouts and coaches is slated for March 1.
Last year, Weber State star cornerback Taron Johnson was invited to the combine and drafted in the fourth round of the NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills.
The durable Opeta started all 13 games on the season for the Wildcats and played 50 games in his collegiate career at Weber State.
Opeta also played in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl January 19.
