OGDEN, Utah-Tuesday, Weber State men’s basketball received a shot in the arm as the NCAA granted a waiver for transfer Khameron Davis, who came to Randy Rahe’s program from the University of Pittsburgh of the Atlantic Coast Conference.
A 6-4 junior guard, Davis joined the Wildcats’ program this past summer and will have two years of eligibility at Weber State.
The Denver native played in 58 games for the Panthers in his first two seasons, netting 3.3 points per game.
He started 23 games as a freshman, netting 4 points and 2.8 rebounds per game during his first season as a collegian.
He also posted 36 steals and 21 blocks in his two seasons at Pittsburgh.
Davis attended Valor Christian School of Highlands Ranch, Colo. and prep school at Forest Trail Academy of Wellington, Fla. before enrolling at Pittsburgh.
