OGDEN, Utah-Saturday, as Weber State men’s basketball participates in the men’s basketball alumni classic at the Dee Events Center, the rosters for each squad have been revealed.
With rising Portland Trail Blazers superstar guard and Weber State alum Damian Lillard, serving as master of ceremonies, the purple team will square off against the white team.
The purple team features former Wildcats NCAA Tournament hero Harold “The Show” Arceneaux, Jermaine Boyette, Pat Danley, Doug Ellertson, Timmy Gibbs, John Hamilton, Shawn Moore, Justin Nielsen, David Patten, Mike Sivulich, Andy Smith, Nic Sparrow, Walt Tyler and Brody Van Brocklin. They will be coached by Joe Cravens.
The white team consists of Lillard, Lance Allred, Kyle Bullinger, Marlon Carter, Ryan Cuff, Jimmy DeGraffenried, James Hajek, Nick Hansen, Dan Henry, Jamaal Jenkins, Lewis Lofton, Darin Mahoney, Josh Noble, Frank Otis and Steve Panos. Current Wildcats head coach Randy Rahe will coach the white team.
Lillard and other Wildcats alums will be on hand from 4:00-5:00 pm in the northern concourse of the Dee Events Center to sign autographs. Doors will open at 3:30 pm.
The fun begins at 5:30 pm with a shooting stars and a 3-point contest.
The game is noteworthy as it features five former Big Sky Conference MVP’s, Lillard, DeGraffenried, Arceneaux, Boyette and Patten.
