OGDEN, Utah-Monday, after routing Cal Poly 41-24 Saturday, Weber State football moved up to sixth in the STATS FCS and AFCA Coaches polls.
The Wildcats moved up one place in the STATS FCS poll and two spots in the AFCA coaches poll.
Defending national champion and perennial power North Dakota State remained in first place in the STATS poll, followed by James Madison in second place and South Dakota State in third place.
Weber State returns to action Saturday at Reno, Nev. against the Nevada Wolf Pack and next plays at Stewart Stadium September 28 against the No. 10 Northern Iowa Panthers.
