PROVO, Utah-The Wasatch boys basketball team earned its third consecutive victory with a 54-50 win over Provo Friday in the Wasps’ Region 8 season opener. PROVO, Utah-Katy Clark’s 22 points led the way as the Provo Bulldogs outlasted Wasatch 56-51 in overtime Friday in Region 8 girls basketball action. Aspyn Neumann had 17 points in the loss for the Wasps. Wasatch fell to 4-6 and 0-1 in Region 8 play with the loss. Coach Norm Hayter’s squad is next in action Tuesday at the Nest for a 5:15 pm tip-off against Spanish Fork.
